Gothic Circus

I didn't don a costume for Halloween this year. Instead I dressed up for a very special event. Fashion Friday: Them Bones

This week I'm too late for Halloween, and too old to whip out a cheesy costume, anyway. But these old bones can still be a little creepy-chic.

This week it's all about El Dia De Los Muertos; The Day Of The Dead. These brightly colored skeletal motifs are all the rage right now. I just put them together in a more sophisticated manner.

Here the classic shape hugging LBD with a twist. It's covered in crosses. It's also the perfect canvas for the colorful Tarina Tarentino Day of the Dead necklace. The pumps are T U K Musica Anti Pop Heels in bright, fun aqua and are perfect companions for the bauble. The bone printed bag is by House of Holland and the cream-colored cape by Phase Eight is a great nod to a Mexican manta. The wheels are Zephyr Sports Ultra Light Custom by Colours.

Now, where did I put that apple?

The outfits that I put together for Fashion Friday are based on my BODS profile. Sure, some of the items I use are beyond my price range but I’m certain I can find reasonable equivalents within my budget. I would love the opportunity to put some together for you for the next installment of Fashion Friday. If you’re interested email me with your BODS profile and we’ll make it happen!
