Fashion Friday: Just Hangin' Around

I've had a long week. Every time I think I'm finally going to catch up on what I have to do something happens that puts me even further behind. I need a break. This weekend I would love to relax and just hang around, so here's my idea of the perfect outfit for that very thing.

Here we have an all-purpose outfit that works for anything from a stroll through the park to brunch with the girls or a matinée with your beau. Start with a colored skinny jean, so trendy this fall, in royal blue. Pair it with a casual slash neck sweatshirt with a band logo like this one from Amplified Clothing (if you don't know who the Ramones are, check dictionary.com under the definition of "cool").  Add a denim jacket with some visual interest - remember, don't match your jacket to your pants; it's very outdated. Orange Seychelles Bonsai flats add the colour-de-jour and serve as a contrast to the blues and the Fossil Vintage leopard bag adds a print. Bad hair day? Just reach for your camel-colored mini-roller bowler hat and roll with it, baby!
