CIRCLE OF GENTLEMEN
In 2006, two childhood friends sought to subvert current fashion trends by designing a new kind of shirt. Today, Circle of Gentlemen has evolved into a full men's collection. Focused on offering the best in quality and design, the Dutch brand is motivated to change the "appearance of the street view" though the use of Italian fabrics and exclusive patterns. Circle of Gentlemen is presented by Levy's

LAGI NADEAU
Lagi Nadeau is showcasing her collection for the third time at Nashville Fashion Week. The Lagi Nadeau collection blends high-end sophistication with feminine styling. This distinct style is emphasized by the designer's use of luxurious fabrications mixed with interesting detailing. Nadeau creates high quality, authentic pieces made in the USA, for women who have a strong sense of self and style. She is one of six Designers-in-Residence with the Chicago Fashion Incubator program at Macy’s on State Street. The Lagi Nadeau Collection is presented by Stacey Rhodes Boutique.

MEGAN HUNTZ
Megan Huntz is from Atlanta, where she currently resides and produces her collection. Her focus is on the enrichment of textiles and a modern twist on classic pieces. Megan Huntz is carried by Henry & June in Atlanta, and online with Les Nouvelles. She also produces Huntz & White ties, a men's neckwear line, also made in the southeast.

RELIGION
Established in the UK in the early 90’s, Religion firmly rooted itself in early club culture. This was a time when music was chemically inspired and beliefs were publicly expressed on statement tees. Initially developed as a niche t-shirt range, Religion’s blend of anarchic graphics and commercial attributes has pushed the brand to the front of the fashion and media spotlight. With its no-fear policy of experimental design techniques, washes and trends, these distressed garments with a rock star edge have given the brand its diverse appeal. Religion is presented by Any Old Iron

TIMO WEILAND
The Timo Weiland Collection reflects Timo Weiland, Alan Eckstein and Donna Kang’s personal aesthetic sensibilities and a broader desire to spur a return to the art of dressing.
The designers won the Ecco Domani Fashion Fund award in January 2014 and took part in the 2012 and 2013 CFDA Incubator. The Timo Weiland Collection is presented by Jamie Nashville

In about 48 hours I will be sitting in the front row watching the Nashville Designers Showcase Runway Show at Acme Feed and Seed. I remember last year's opening night show as if it were yesterday. I parked my wheelchair at the edge of the press box, not knowing a soul except the dear friend I brought with me for that show. I wore what I had, and was more than a little nervous about the entire experience. My better half covered the events with nothing but an iPhone. We made due, but it was hardly a stellar showing.

This year things are different. I've spent the past year getting to know many people that will be in the audience or on the runway. We have better audio and video equipment with which to cover NFW, and I won't be sitting in a corner by myself. I'll be sitting with friends -  not just people I know -  several of which are responsible for almost everything I will be wearing all throughout the week. Taking into account my body type and sense of style, Krystle Ramos of  Pura Vida Vintage and Tiffany herself at Tiffany's Boutique selected numerous pieces for me to wear to every single event.

Here's a little sneak peek at some of the preparations.

I hope you'll stick around to see the end result, as well as all of the festivities that make up Nashville Fashion Week 2015.
