Summer Blockbuster
Maybe not, but a good movie is a subjective experience, as is a good outfit.
Summer is the busiest season of the year for me so it's nice to spend an afternoon at the movies. In a sea of cargo shorts, black, boxy tees and flip-flops I stick out like a sore thumb in this outfit - and that's fine with me.
The pewter embellished tank is an old standby from Marshall's clearance rack if memory serves. The white ruched-sleeve jacket is from Dress Barn, of all places. I never thought much of their clothes but I stopped in there on a lark a few months ago and found this in the Petite clearance rack. I'm in love with this Indian pink neon Sharagamo pencil skirt, It's from one of ideeli's ultra-clearance events, as were the black and beige Chelsea Crew Mary Janes. The black and gold Stein Mart watch is making another appearance. This time it's paired with a tri-colored gold bangle I purchased in Spain about 30 years ago.
This is the final week to play "accessorize my outfit with boticca". Please do play along this week and tell your friends to do the same.
By now you've all noticed that I have what's referred to as "cankles". I didn't always have them. I got then right after I underwent neurosurgery five years ago. They're annoying, and for years I hated wearing skirts because my new ankles made my legs look even stumpier. Now I work out, I take care of myself, and I'm going to wear skirts, cankles and all.
Linky love with Visible Monday, Shoe Shine Wednesday and Monday Mingle.
