VOGOFF September 2014
Normally I only post once a week, but the latest issue of VOGOFF has just been released and I'm in it so I just had to share with all of you!
Published by Melanie Kobayashi of Bag and a Beret, VOGOFF is the avant garde answer to Vogue. This issue is all about fact, fiction, and fraud and is the first issue to contain both text submitted by the models [Disclaimer: some of the stories contain adult language. It doesn't bother me, but you've been warned], most of whom are over 40, or curvy, or disabled - or a combination of all of the above. All are amazing, gutsy, sassy ladies and it's an honor to be among their ranks.
Now that the magazine is out I want to thank Clint Searcy for taking some fantastic photos that not only made me look good but also helped tell the story. I also want to credit the clothing I wore for each of the shots.
In the first picture I'm wearing a Baccini denim blazer, Strawcastle Design tank, Michael Kors Jeans, Stella and Dot, Hard Rock, and Stitch Fix Jewelry. In the second picture I'm wearing a Kate + rosy military-style jacket, New York & Company trousers, thrifted lace top from Goodwill, and MIA flats. In the last picture I'm wearing a corset from Performance Studios, ruffled panties from Yandy, stockings from Torrid, and stiletto pumps from Goodwill. The feathered headband is a bespoke piece by Sunnyband. Look for more Sunnybands in future posts as well as a feature story at the end of this month.
I do hope you'll click on the link above or on the sidebar and to see my layout and check out VOGOFF for yourself.
Speaking of lovely ladies, once again I'm in on the party at How I Wear My: Sandals at The Rich Life on a Budget and Everything Just So. I'm also linking with Clairejustine for Welcome to the weekend Blog Hop.
