Spring Fashion Bash: Girl Power

This year's Sunnyband Spring Fashion Bash was an exercise in Girly-Girl Power with a dash of Prince Charming thrown in for good measure.

After the cold, cruel Winter everyone was ready to put on their best Spring frock and don a whimsical Sunnyband to watch the runway shows at Play Dance Bar. The event was emceed by The BloggerGirls, and we were treated to looks from B3sos, Pomp, Eric Adler, Pura Vida Vintage,  Daisy Alexandria Designs and Sunnyband.  Guests also had an opportunity to buy some of Daisy's beautiful jewelry or add to their Sunnyband collection. Of course, I did both.

Sunny Fitz is one of the most inspirational women I know. As a result of the 2010 Nashville flood she lost her job and got a basement full of water as an added bonus. Instead of letting her circumstances overwhelm her she began designing and making the frilly, embellished headpieces that her girlfriends loved to wear. Since then Sunnybands have been seen on major network morning shows, E! Online, and USA Today as well as on the runway at New York Lingerie Week. Hers is a true success story that only gets better as she branches out.
