Spring Fashion Bash: Girl Power

This year's Sunnyband Spring Fashion Bash was an exercise in Girly-Girl Power with a dash of Prince Charming thrown in for good measure. After the cold, cruel Winter everyone was ready to put on their best Spring frock and don a whimsical Sunnyband to watch the runway shows at Play Dance Bar.

Small Business Saturday in Nashville is the best excuse I know to give my holiday business to the boutiques and shops that are redefining fashion and style in Music City. The city is filled with stores that cater to every taste imaginable. There's something for everyone here, so I thought I'd give you a guide of sorts to some of Nashville's most unique shops - just in case you'd like to drop by or visit them online.

Any Old Iron Fashion Show

When you think of Nashville's fashion scene you don't necessarily think of punk. That is, not until now. British-born Andrew Clancey has relocated Any Old Iron, his punk-inspired UK designer clothing boutique, from the Big Apple to Music City. I'll bring you a feature on the store very soon. Right now I want to show you some highlights from Any Old Iron's debut fashion show in Nashville's East Ivy Mansion.

For tomorrow we shall all die(t). As we approach the end of the holidays and the beginning of 2014 it's only appropriate to ring out the old year in style. After all, on New Year's Day most of us will attempt to turn over a new leaf and get our lives - and waistlines - back in order. More on that later this week. For now I will dress to the nines and enjoy one last party this year.
