O'More College Of Design Student Fashion Show
Did you know that Nashville has it's very own graphics, fashion and interior design college?
Many locals consider the O'More College of Design's Student Fashion Show to be the true finale to Spring Fashion season in Nashville. Every year students participate in a runway show open to the public and judged by some of the most prestigious names in Nashville's fashion industry.
It's exciting to see fashion created by fresh eyes that were nurtured within our own community. Many of the silhouettes were creative yet flattering, and several of the designers featured "plus-sized" models. Inclusion is no longer a belittling notion. It's an inevitable fact that becomes more mainstream every season. I look forward to the day when Nashville is a hub for all stages of fashion production, from design to textile manufacturing to sewing and tailoring. Thanks to the newly formed Nashville Fashion Alliance, that day is not far off. Look for more details in the future.
