I couldn't resist borrowing this phrase from the Bard himself. Is that terribly despicable of me? It seems my life has been going at 90 miles an hour for the past two months. But, no matter how busy I get, spending a little quality time with my better half is very high on my list of priorities.

It's often cheaper and infinitely more fun to shop thrift stores, flea markets, and independent stores that carry gently used and vintage items than it is to fight the crowds and roll the dice on what may or may not be great deals at major stores. You may even find something you love at such a good price you'd be a fool not to give yourself a little gift, too.
