Music City Trunk Tee

I love Trunk. I really do.

Nashville's premier clothing truck (think boutique on wheels) is one of my favorite Music City clothing spots. I love it so much I'm going to do a big feature on it in the near future. But, just like last week's post, today it's all about the tee.

I spotted this Straw Castle Design navy tank hanging from Trunk's back door at Porter Flea and fell in love with it. It's a fresh, hip reinvention of the schmaltzy tourist tees that permeate the city. This was the last one. I wore it with my Democracy colored denim and a Paparazzi embroidered jacket. You've seen the grey necklace and MPR corkies before (Rhoda loves these shoes. She nearly destroyed them!). You've seen the venue, too. I'm at Cool Springs Galleria to visit my friend Matty.

Isn't he devastatingly handsome? He melts my heart, and is one of the most genuinely good and decent people I've ever met. He also happens to be gay. It would make me very happy to see an end to the discrimination he has to endure simply because he was born different than most people. Actually, I wouldn't mind that, too. But, then again, isn't that what this blog is all about?

If you look closely the tank reads "Built Strong". I like to think so.

Have a look at the lovely ladies at Visible Monday and Monday Mingle.
