The party took place at The Standard which, according to their page on Yelp, is wheelchair accessible. But it isn't. Not even close. So I sat there in my lavender gown feeling left out and foolish. I had to leave.

So it came as no surprise to find out that owner/curator Krystle Ramos' impeccable fashion sense is sought after by more than just yours truly. Last month Ramos was contacted to be the featured designer for a show hosted by Tennessee State University. Called "Throwback to Paris", the runways highlighted a collection of vintage dresses and outerwear inspired by Paris in the 1950's.
